What to Expect During a Microneedling Treatment

Once the numbing cream has taken effect, your provider will use a microneedling device to create tiny punctures in the skin. The treatment typically takes 30-45 minutes, depending on the size of the treatment area.

After the treatment, you may experience some redness and swelling, but these side effects should subside within a few hours. It is important to avoid direct sun exposure and use a broad-spectrum sunscreen for the first week after your treatment to protect your skin and optimize your results.
